As you drive along the coastal road from Tsukumi IC towards Tsukumi City, you'll notice colorful and large playground equipment on your left—that's Tsukumin Park. Tsukumin Park is themed as a "Sea Adventure Kingdom," featuring unique, ocean-inspired designs and shapes for its large playground equipment. The park also has a spacious event area covered in lush green grass, making it a popular tourist spot in Tsukumi. During the summer, the area becomes the center of the biggest festival in Tsukumi City, the Tsukumi Port Festival. The festival is famous for hosting one of Kyushu's largest fireworks displays, the Super Giant Firework, which is also well-known across Oita Prefecture.
