observation deck 4(Hitome-Hakkei)autumn
The scenic spots along the Yamato River, a tributary of the Yamakuni River, are particularly scenic and are known as the ‘Eight Views at a Glance’, as eight different views can be seen at once: Kaibo Rei, Sen-nin-iwa, Sho-ni-wa, Meoto-iwa, Gunen-zan, Eboshi-wa, Ojikao-rei and Washinosu-yama. Along with Nikko and Arashiyama, it is also known as one of Japan's three best places for viewing autumn leaves. There are many soba noodle shops and souvenir shops around the observatory, which is an excellent photo spot.
