Kawazu Cherry Blossoms 1
on the Shioura Peninsula were planted primarily by local residents and have grown into one of the largest and most famous Kawazu cherry blossom spots in Oita Prefecture. With around 5,000 cherry trees, they typically begin to bloom in early February, with the best viewing time in mid-February. On sunny days, the beautiful contrast between the blossoms, the blue sky, and the sea is truly breathtaking.
